On August 12th, SWAT Paranormal
Investigations of Tyler, Texas,
hosted a joint Meet Up with other
research groups in Texas, with
over 50 attending the Saturday
evening event, some travelling over
a 100 miles to be there.
ASUP's own Rick Moran was the
keynote guest speaker, who talked
about experiences in Amityville and
during and after the Mothman
investigation by his group. He
urged the groups to use both
police and journalistic techniques
in their investigations of the
paranormal and stressed the need
for groups to work together to
share data, manpower and
equipment to do the job better.
There was also a psychometry test
during the meeting! There were
several unexplained photos to see
and stories to be recounted.
